An Ordinary Refund is inside the 42 day window with cancellation fees applicable. An Exceptional Circumstances Refund means that the Board of Directors may approve a full refund (no administration fee) for a cancelled booking. Exceptional circumstances are those where the reasons for the cancellation could not have been foreseen and/or are outside the member’s control. Changes in work and family commitments are not considered exceptional circumstances. Members are encouraged to consider travel insurance to protect themselves against these types of events.
